Lab & Setup Observership
Lab closed · no live cases · no patient contact
- Walk the embryology lab, andrology / semen-prep area, cryo & sample storage, and OT layout
- Equipment orientation — incubators, laminar flow, ICSI rig, vitrification and cryo tanks
- Workflow, SOPs, double-witnessing protocol, air handling, QC and documentation
- ART Act compliance in practice — how consents, record-keeping and National Registry reporting are organised (overview only; patient records and registers remain confidential)
- Q&A with the embryologist and clinical team
Open to: all doctors (incl. BAMS/BHMS), embryologists, life-science graduates, students

Live Clinical Observership

- Observe real procedures — IVF (egg collection & embryo transfer), IUI, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, delivery
- OT flow, anaesthesia handoff, and the embryology bench during a live cycle
- Patient counselling and stimulation-cycle monitoring (with patient consent)
- Case discussion with Dr. Shweta Agarwal around what you observed

Why we charge — and why it's worth it
An observership at a working IVF centre isn't a tour. Every visit means faculty time away from a running practice, single-use sterile disposables for cleanroom and OT entry, consent coordination with real patients, and preparation of the lab and case calendar around your dates. A single day beside a live egg collection, transfer and embryology bench teaches what months of textbooks can't — and costs a fraction of metro-city programs that charge several times more for less access. There are no hidden extras: the fee you see is the fee you pay.

Doctors who refer patients to Aansh IVF as part of an ongoing clinical relationship can attend either observership level at no cost. We see it as part of our collaboration — the better you know how our lab and OT run, the better you can counsel the patients you send us, and the smoother the shared care.
For all other applicants, the observership is a paid program — ₹10,000 for Level 1 and ₹20,000 for Level 2, all-inclusive. See what the fee covers.
Strictly observational, by design
- You observe — you do not perform or assist in any procedure, and you do not handle gametes or embryos.
- Every observer signs a confidentiality agreement before the visit; live-case observation requires the observed patient's consent.
- You receive a letter of attendance — not a qualification, certification of competency, or licence.

Three steps to your visit
- Enquire — message us with your name, qualification, registration number (if applicable), city, and the level you're interested in. Mention if you already refer patients to Aansh.
- Confirm dates — Level 1 is scheduled on non-case days; Level 2 is matched to our upcoming case calendar. We confirm dates, duration and (if applicable) the fee.
- Visit — sign the confidentiality agreement on arrival, observe, discuss, and leave with a letter of attendance.
